Kane Williamson will lead SRH

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson will lead SRH this IPL 11, after David Warner was banned from IPL 2018 in the case of ball tampering by Cricket Australia (CA).

Although there where other Contender like Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar Sunrisers on Thursday choose to appoint Williamson as the interim captain. They had originally bought him in 2015 and regained his service at this year auction for USD 468000. Bhubaneswar has been appointed vice captain of the team.

In the last three season with Sunrisers Williamson played only 15 matches with a modest record 411 runs at a strike rate of 129.24 with 3 half centuries. Also during a T20 tri series between New Zealand England and Australia former fast bowler Seeman doull was concerned williamson's role in the shortest formate suggesting he should give up T20 in an effort to manage his workload better.

McClenaghan replaces injured Behrendorff in Mumbai Indians squad

Mumbai Indians have paid New Zealand fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan once again their squad as like for like replacement for the injured Jason Behrendorff. The Australia quick is suffering from a back problem and will miss the entire IPL. Mumbai had bought Behrendorff in the auction for INR 1.5 crore ( USD 234000 approx ), while McClenaghan went unsold.
