Rahane will lead the RR this IPL 2018; And David Warner steps down as captain of SRH

Steve Smith had replaced by Ajinkya Rahane as captain of Rajasthan Royal for the upcoming 2018 IPL season, after his confession of premeditated ball tampering in the 3rd test played between Australia and South Africa.

He stood down as the Skipper for the rest of the test and then he was banned for one test by ICC, and charges him 100% match fee as fine. CA took that decision in the face of great pressure at home from the Australian government Prime Minister Malcolm turnbull and the public. The board appointed Tim Paine as care taker captain for the remainder of Cape Town test which Australia lost on the 4th day.





Due to all these ongoing events David Warner has stepped down as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the franchise confirmed on March 28.

McClenaghan replaces injured Behrendorff in Mumbai Indians squad

Mumbai Indians have paid New Zealand fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan once again their squad as like for like replacement for the injured Jason Behrendorff.
