RCB sign Corey Anderson for injuried Coulter - Nile
Royal Challenger Bangalore have drafted in New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson as a replacement for Australia fast bowler Nathan Coulter Nile for IPL 2018.
Coulter Nile the second highest Wicket taker for KKR last season is yet to recover from a stress fracture to his back and hasn't play any form of cricket since October 2017. He was bought by KKR at an at the auction in February last year for INR 3.5 crore.
Anderson who was part of Delhi Daredevils team 2017 went sold at the 2018 auction. He is also recovering from my stress fracture office lower back and has featured in just one competitive game for the first class side Northern districts in July 2017. He has been signed by RCB at his best price of INR 2 crore.
Anderson's signing gives RCB a number of overseas all-rounder option. They already have England's Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes, and New Zealand's Colin De Grandhomme in their roaster.
